Since its origins, the Emile Hermes collection has perpetuated the tradition of bringing together rare and atypical pieces. This can be seen in the composition of real objects, and their stylistic and typological variations can be understood at a glance. It was one of these pieces, made in 1923, that served as the model for this scarf, in which dog collars were carefully placed according to size and symmetry. Years later, these ornaments inspired the famous Collier de Cembert and the bracelet that bears his name. Florence Manric's precise and meticulous hands, combined with her unmistakable volume and texture, create a striking realism. (From official website)
